Winter League 2012

Auckland Ultimate’s Winter Outdoor League is back for 2012.

A+ Grade, Mixed 7-a-side league, At least 3 women on the field at all times.

In 2011 the AU Winter Outdoor League was run on artificial turf for the first time, and after the success of the format, we are bringing it back for this year. The venue is again Bill McKinley Park in Panmure and this year the league will run on Sunday evenings. The dates and times of the league are below (please note a couple of the weeks have different game times to fit around football tournaments).

Sunday 9 September 7.30-9.00pm * Late game due to tournament at Bill McKinkley
Sunday 16 September 6.00-7.30pm
Sunday 23 September 7.30-9.00pm * Late game due to tournament at Bill McKinkley
Sunday 30 September 6.00-7.30pm
Sunday 7 October 6.00-7.30pm Prize-Giving Function – 7.45pm.

Venue is Bill McKinley Park, Ireland Road, Mt Wellington (beside the Panmure Roundabout). Check the field map for location.

WFDF 2009 Rules: Game to 13, Half at 7, 75 minutes time cap, 90 minutes hard cap (because the lights go out).

$500 per team. Fee increase this year due to a longer league and the high cost of turf/lights. There will be limited spots – probably capped at 5 teams (may be able to stretch to 6), so get your team together now and enter.
