Spring Ultimate 2013

Auckland Ultimate is ready to announce Spring Ultimate leagues for 2013. We have a variety of options for playing – Central Mixed Social starts earlier at Auckland Grammar, with other leagues starting later after Auckland Council has done some work on their fields. More announcements to come when fields are confirmed but Women’s and Men’s leagues will start after Labour weekend.

Registrations close one week before the league starts. Team payment is due by the second week of games, otherwise a $50 late fee is added.

If you need to find a team or players please use the facebook group to advertise. We can’t guarantee a pick up team as there may not be enough players or we may have enough team entries to fill the league so please try and find yourself a team. Or step up and organize the players that don’t have a team!

Rules

– Games will be self-refereed as per the standard rules of Ultimate, apart from field size and number of players for 5-a-side leagues.

– We recommend about 10 players per team for 5-a-side and 12 for 7-a-side – you may need more if there are going to be players away for some weeks.

– The gender split for social is 3m2f and for competitive 4m3f. If you are unable to field a full team you will default the game. It would be preferable if you still gave the other team a game.

– Uniforms – Participants to have a light AND dark shirt, with team colours decided before play.

– The game ends on the hooter blast. If the disc is still in the air it is still in play. Playoff games cannot be a draw.
