New Zealand Ultimate is pleased to announce the following appointments to the role of Regional Junior High Performance Coordinator.
- Northern Region (Based from Auckland) Bryan Holyoake
- Central Region (Based from Wellington) stay posted for a further announcement soon
- Southern Region (Based from Christchurch) Crystal Lenky
The Regional Coordinators will promote the pathways available to secondary-school aged players in the sport of Ultimate to the players and their families. These range from local playing opportunities, to school leagues through development opportunities all the way to representing New Zealand on the world stage.
They will be a key contact for juniors-level ultimate and will link with the various people involved in schools and juniors ultimate throughout their region.
In addition, the Regional Coordinators will have major roles in assisting the National Junior High Performance Manager (Helen Germann) with the organisation of a new NZU programme in 2014 - the National Junior Development Camp, to be held in September.
