Double happiness for Auckland at National Championships

Auckland has proven its strength on the Ultimate circuit by claiming the duo of national titles at this year’s New Zealand Ultimate Championships.

The men’s squad Magon found their winning form for a third
consecutive year to pip Sydney team Bro 15-13 in, what the crowd’s cheers showed, was a hard fought tug of war for points.

In the women’s division, an undefeated Auckland’s Vixenz team quashed last year’s runners-up Chch Chicks, of Christchurch, to seal the deal 15-5.

Auckland Ultimate also made a name for itself on the spirit front with Vixenz DS heralded as the most spirited female team and Magon scoring runners-up in the men’s division.
