Auckland Players head to World Champs!
July and August are set to be an exciting time for world Ultimate, and New Zealand is sending teams accross the globe to represent.
Our national U19 Girls team (Kahu) is heading off this week to Sydney for a test match series against Australia. Anyone who has been down to Cox’s bay on Sunday afternoons will have seen the girls training hard over the past few months.
Also leaving this week are our national reps heading to the World Ultimate and Guts Championship in Sakai Japan, 7th to 14th July 2012. Follow our representatives in the Open, Womens (Whaitiri) and Masters (Tuatara) divisions here. You can also get to know your local Auckland stars here (thanks Sam). And just a few weeks later is the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Dublin, Ireland. August 12th to 18th, 2012. New Zealand is sending its first ever U19 Open team, Katipo. Follow their progress here.
